Draft — pending legal review

This text is a working draft. A lawyer has not reviewed it yet and it may change before the pilots start.

Terms of use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms govern the use of Veta IQ during its pilot stage. The pilot agreement signed with each organisation prevails where it says otherwise.

1. Pilot service

Veta IQ is an auditable database of Chilean mining information (copper, its by-products and lithium). During the pilot, access is limited to invited organisations, features may change without notice and we do not guarantee continuous availability.

2. Accounts and seats

Each account is personal. Do not share your access. Each organisation may use up to the number of seats in its plan or agreement.

3. Permitted use and restrictions

You may use the information for your organisation's internal work. You may not:

  • redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the information or the exports, in whole or in substantial part;
  • use it to build a product or database that competes with Veta IQ;
  • extract data automatically (scraping) or get around usage limits;
  • use data about people for sales prospecting, contact lists or direct marketing.

4. Not investment advice

Veta IQ information is for analysis and is not a recommendation or investment, financial, legal or technical advice. Each user is responsible for the decisions they make with it.

5. Sources, accuracy and restatements

Every figure links to its source document. Sources correct their figures over time: when they publish a new version we add it without deleting the previous one, and we flag any change above 1% as a restatement. An export reflects the data current on its date.

We verify extracted values, but they may contain errors. If you find one, tell us through the form on the Takedown page.

6. Source licences and attribution

The facts come from public primary sources, including Cochilco, SERNAGEOMIN, the Environmental Assessment Service, the SMA, the CMF, CChEN, the FNE, the US SEC and the companies' own reports. Each source keeps its rights.

We show facts with attribution ("Source: agency, report, year") and, at most, short quotations. Instead of hosting the documents, we link to where they were originally published. Data from sources under non-commercial licences does not feed paid features. The list of sources and their terms is on the Sources page.

The selection, arrangement and verification of the database, and the Veta IQ software and design, belong to us.

7. Takedown

If you believe some content infringes your rights or contains an error, use the Takedown page. We review every request and, where appropriate, hide the content as a precaution within 72 hours.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Veta IQ is not liable for damages arising from the use of the information or from service interruptions during the pilot. The pilot agreement may set specific rules.

9. Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; we will publish the new version with its date. They are governed by the laws of Chile. Contact: the forms on the Your rights and Takedown pages.
